I looked at one this past weekend and am in love with it and have been thinking about it, but since it was the first place I went to I want to look some more!!!

I tried on SOOO many dresses and I never expected to have the 'it' feeling.
Although I love love loved my dress I still never had the 'it' feeling. But I was excited about it more then any other. So that's how I choose lol. But I'm also not the girl who's been dreaming aobut her wedding forever.
I'm sure if I kepted trying dresses on I would have found another that I loved too. But I'm happy with my selection.

yupp!! It was the very first dress I tried on. I went in with a picture of it. Saw it on the hanger and gasped. Tried it on and I knew 100%!! I went to a few other places and tried on probably 15 more dresses but it didn't matter. I knew I would go back to my first dress and I did! I never felt an ounce of regret about her (yes I call her a her).

I had the same issue. I was afaraid to commit. I tired on the dress the first place i went . i loved it but wasent ready ... i went to afew other places and 2 weeks later i went back and i got it!

Thanks everyone! You all made me feel better.. I am going to stop stressing about it and have fun and look around some more.. if that dress is the one I can always go back and get it.

I thought my first dress I said yes to was 'the one' then I got home and looked online and found one that I just adored...it was a brand new collection that was not in the store yet. I waited and couldnt get this new one out of my head..went back they had the dress and just fell in love. It was what I always envisioned

I definitely didn't have 'THE MOMENT' like they do on SYTTD. But my dress I kept looking at myself and not necessarily feeling like a bride or a princess, but a queen. Honestly, I felt very regal and I had never had a feeling like that before. I just kept twirling around and looking at the dress sparkle and I knew it was the one I wanted to be wearing coming down the aisle.
You'll find it, I promise you! And again, you do have PLENTY of time!! But enjoy every minute!!!

I was at DB and my school club was borrowing dresses for a fashion show we were having as a fundraiser. We werent allowed to get ones with trains but i found this one with metallic pink flowers and swarovski crystal bead work *sigh* I had to try it on. I did and loved it, i didnt cry, but a friend said 'its so you' so i couldnt stop thinking about. I went back and tried it on 2 times with 2 different girls who will be my bm's. they thought i was crazy cuz i just got engaged and am not planning on getting married until Fall 2012 So I watched it online for months and one day i went online to show my 2 flower girls the pretty dress I wanted (we were looking at dresses for the older ones communion first) the price dropped so i called to find out why and found out they were discontinuing the style so I went with my matron of honor and 2 of my flower girls and bought it! I'm so happy with it I try it on all the time but I am scared that something might happen to it while it is in my closet for 2 yrs thats my only problem

I am sure it will be fine! Maybe you can store it will a dry cleaner or something... I also hear they can you can some kind of air tight bag

Actually, I really liked mine but was torn between two. It was my mom and my sister crying that made me go with the one I ordered!

I didn't think I would have that 'moment' but I actually did. I was between 2 dresses at DB. Last minute my FMIL pulled a dress and told me to just try it. It was one I did not even think about. Sure enough I put it on and had that brief crying moment!!! I knew it was the one right away. I did not want to take it off lol

I tried on well over 50 dresses. I looked for months and months and can't even tell you how many hours I spend on the internet looking at dresses! I was beginning to think I would not have that feeling either. I did not pick out my dress. The sales lady suggested I try it on. When I did INSTANTLY I knew it was the one and it brought me to tears. I bought it right then and there!

Yes I pretty much knew it was the one when I tried it on. I spotted it online, then went to the bridal store and asked them to pull it, and it was the first dress I tried on. I tried on a lot after that, but went back to the first one.

I def did not have the'its the one feeling' but then again Im not one to cry over anything, lol.. But I did know it seemed to have the most potential and I wanted to customize it to my liking.. It was definately the one dress I felt like I didnt want to take off and I knew I can make it into the dress of my dreams once it was altered!!! I really did the day of and my last fitting fell inlove and new it was the one!!! It my happen later on rather then when you buy the dress initially!
