How are you going to let guests know about it? I was thinking a card with their menu or at their places? We're doing a photobooth as the other favor, but I'm not really sure how I'd incorporate the donation there.

Some charities do bookmarks or scrolls with a donation, so you could do this - either from the charity or DIY.

I'm either going to...
a) Make one large sign to play in the entrance of the hall
b) have 2 smaller notes framed at each table to let people know.
c) have a totally seperate sweetheart table set up. There will be 2 emtpy chairs, 2 extra bout's, and 2 memory candles. There will be 1 frame with a letter notifiying people of the donation.

they place is giving us donation cards I think they look like business cards

we found these mini-cards (the width of a business card, but height of a postcard) at moo.com that we ordered ... one side has one of 30 different pictures on it and the other side has:
In lieu of a traditional favor we have made a donation in your honor to The World Wildlife Fund Thanks for being a part of our special day Moran & Craig
we'll then punch a hole at the top and put some ribbon through it to make little bookmarks.
