do not watch the clock!!!

remember the wedding arrives when YOU arrive!!!

savor every moment, definately try ot get a glimpse of your reception room before your guests arrive

GET A VIDEOGRAPHER!!!!!! we were always getting one...but the day just goes so fast, filled with excitement, and you are just so busy and on cloud nine,,,

i feel like it was a blur... so i am relying on my video!!

1) People will RSVP yes and not show up.... people will RSVP no and then plan on showing up last minute- just flick this stuff off your shoulder and keep it moving- dont stress about it, because it means nothing in the end... the ones who love you WILL BE THERE

2) Remember the wedding is about YOU and your FH.... take a couple of minutes to be alone.

3) You and your FH dont have to be attached by the hip all night. I agree with Gina in her earlier post when she said that....its true. Stay together, but take a couple of minutes to dance with your girls!!! And let your FH take a shot with the guys
My FH did this and was right back on the dance floor dancing with me 2 minutes later.

4) The day goes by soooooooooooo fast....please look around and take it all in If anything goes wrong- dont let it ruin YOUR wedding day!

Don't forget to pee BEFORE you get into your dress

Designate a bridesmaid to bring safety pins, bobby pins, a tide pen all that stuff jsut in case! One of my GM's fly broke during dinner and he was grealty appreciative of the safety pins

Bring deoderant esp. if your getting married in the summer. After taking pics at the the beach I was hot as hell! When we got to Atlantis my MOH busted out the travel dove deoderant and I was thankful she did.

Take it all in!

Oh and don't forget to eat!


HTH future brides

-Have all planning done atleast a week or two ahead of time. My wedding was planned to the tee. I just kicked back and partied.

- Don't let something stupid ruin your day. My DJ played the Wedding March instead of Canon in D. Did I freak for a second? Yes. Did I let it ruin my night? Absolutely not.

-I would strongly recommend taking pictures BEFORE the ceremony. We were able to go to our cocktail hour and say hello to SO many people. Which made it a lot easier for us to enjoy our reception.

-Once your party is in full swing, take a step back and take it all in. Take your own photos if you can. This was your vision that came to life. It's so awesome.

-Oh, and don't forget to breathe, eat, dance, drink and have fun.

be sure to spend a few minutes alone w/ your new hubby after you just get married.

look around the room during your reception and take it all in!

try to say all your hello's during CH, so that you can enjoy the party :0)

-Definitley take pics before the ceremony, especially if you are getting married at the RH! We did this and it didnt take anything away from the emotions we felt when we saw each other as I walked down the aisle!
- Go to your CH!
-Don't stress things that you can't change! The last couple of days leading up to the wedding people started canceling on us left and right! I was so upset about this, but the day of I didnt even notice that those people were missing!
-Just dance, drink and eat! Enjoy every second of your special day!!
