did you have a mental breakdown shortly before?? i find myself crying and stressed wondering if it will all work out.... i dont mean to be a baby.... and i feel bad letting FH know but is it normal??? please tell me its normal pre wedding stress

oh yea...right here. i felt like i kept myself cool and calm for the first year and 5 months. the last month, it was just a lot of pressure and stress and i did have a mini meltdown (by myself) but it's all worth it. and i think a lot of this stress comes from others and their opinions that they shouldn't be telling us anyways

good luck and try not to stress - easier said than done, i know. but try!

I was a pretty calmed bride right up until the day of the wedding. I was very emotional that day. Maybe once or twice I found myself crying alone.

I did 2 weeks ago. I hope that was the only one, but I bet you close to the wedding it'll happen again....

I almost left work one day because I had so much anxiety. It was awful.

So...totally normal!

yep i have been alot more b!tchy and snapping out and crying over ever lil aspect of this wedding...its overwhelming and im losing it..your not alone

Honestly I am the happiest I have ever been now. Just this huge sense of relief comes over you as soon as the wedding is over. It gets better Lizzy!!

ETA: Sorry I thought you said after the wedding not before. In that case - YES!!! I was a mess - and very moody. Clearly I can not read today! Ha!

thanks girls!!! I feel better I was just having a mini breakdown!!!!!! i just needed to know i wasnt crazy!!!1 im getting more excited but my brain (m y worst enemy sometimes) just plays tricks with me!

Nope, not at all. I never let it stress me out, its supposed to be a happy time. I never let the little details get to me, or any guest drama. I was totally cool, and even on the wedding day people were telling me I was the calmest bride they've ever seen.

For me, I kept thinking 'what is the point of freaking out, its only going to make things worse!' Just try to relax and know that in the end you will be married to your FH and thats all that matters. The rest will fall into place

I thought I was going to be a crazy person but I was so calm. I think that it's normal to worry if it's going to come out beautiful or not, but you can't worry! Just trust your judgement and on that day you can't change anything so stop worrying about it! I am sure it will be absolutly amazing!

i was fine throughout the whole wedding planning. then 3 weeks before the wedding all hell broke loose and i lost it.
it really is normal and different people react differently to different situations.
don't worry about it, it will ago go away soon
