do you have on photographer or two

I have one and his assistant. my photog is a freelancer so I think he will give the tip to his assistant

I just feel I am underpaying him and I want to show him that I appreciate his great work

I am still not sure if to tip the hair and m/u ppl. I guess I will play it by ear and if they will come really early and on time w/o charging extra

this is exactly why we posted - i thought we would have money left over and i completely forgot about the matre d and bridal attendant

I gave:
650 to the maitre d.
200-300 to the bridal attendant (can't remember)
150 to each of the DOC
100 to the DJ/ MC
50 to the zap shots guy
100 each to both photographers and videographer.
50 each to hair and makeup
20% to Limo drivers

omg i just threw up seeing your doc bridal attendant and maitre d numbers

i was planning to do the same for the photog and videographer

My DOC and WM handled a HUGE situation with DH's mom not being allowed to come AND I have tremendous food allergies so there was a lot of stuff done that day to to make sure I was good for the day.

i have a seperate guy just for lighting - it is through my dj though

holy crap this thread is making me want to throw up!

I really dont care what any of my vendors are expecting of me, me and FH will have 0 dollars to our name after all the rest of balances are paid off.

when you say 100 to photogs video dj mc ,........do you mean they are each getting 100 per person ?

You don't realize how much tips run until you put all of the envelopes together....

Bridal Attend $400
Steel Drum Band $30 each
String Quartet $25 each

This is what we thought was fair. Everyone is different and you have to go by your budget.
