Is your session in a private room? I booked with Metropolitan in Stamford but it's just one big room so other people are in there practicing for a show or getting lessons also at times - it's awkward.
Is this normal?
FH is a big Italian and I wanted the dance lessons and he hates it cause he's embarassed with 10 ppl in the room (half of whom are professional dancers)
What are your experiences like?

Re: Girls who are taking DANCE Lessons?
Yeah I wouldnt like that either,,,we actually have the guy come to us so its completly private but their are def places that are private (just may have to pay a little extra)
Did you pay upfront? See if you can get your $ money and look for a more private one.

Ours is in the back of a restaurant...our instructor rents the space because they have a big dance floor. Sometimes the staff is there, but its not a big deal, doesn't bother us.

Re: Girls who are taking DANCE Lessons?
I am paying $400 for 5 lessons so about 75 a lesson I guess... a little more. Is that normal? It's too late we already signed up.. I guess we'll just have to deal!

Re: Girls who are taking DANCE Lessons?
Our private lessons are out in the open in the studio. You get use to it and forget that others are around. My FH didn't want to do especially when he saw others but now he is fine. You really do get use to it.
