Girls who assembled their own pocketfolds...

What kind of glue did you use? Is it a special type so it doesn't bump up underneath the paper, or that kind of adhesive tape?

Also, if you wouldn't say that spatial relations are your forte, would you recommend attempting to assemble them yourself? Like, I can't imagine the gluing of the main invite would be difficult, but I can be a bit spastic and wouldn't even know how to assemble the ribbon band with the monogram card around the outside.

I just put mine together today. I used the scrapbooking adhesive and it seemed to work well. The glue strips made the paper look bumpy, so I was not a fan of that. Rubber cement also worked well today. I originally planned on using my new sticker machine, but I bought the wrong refills....

I used 2 things. 'Zots' and photo squares. Both can be found at michaels in the scrapbooking section.

I used the zots to hold the ribbon and it stayed smooth. Just make sure to get the small ones because the medium and large have a raised surface. I used the paper square to attach the invite to the pocketfold. Also both options allow you to move the invite without damaging the pocket if you don't put it on straight the first time.
