Girls who blocked rooms at hotels

Did you have an appointment or did you just walk in?

Are you going to be looking at the Holiday Inn? I swear to god I had a dream of going there to block rooms last night.

I would call at least to find out...the letter I've been getting always say to call the Sales Manager.

I actually just blocked the rooms over the phone at Fairview Inn at Marriot.

I blocked over the phone for both the Holiday Inn Express and the Inn at East Wind.

I had an appointment for all the places that I went to, I wanted to make sure they were available because I had a million questions.

i called, they faxed me the hotel block, but i did an actual walk through of exactly what my suite would look like and what my guests rooms looked like before I signed the contract

I just went to the Holiday Inn in Ronkonkoma and the lady who sets everything up wasnt there. It looks nice so I will call and book it monday.

You do it over the phone b/c you need to talk to the Sales Manager and they are not always in.

I wanted to see the place so I called ahead to make sure there were rooms available to see and that there was someone to show us.
We just walked into one hotel and they were completely booked and had no rooms to show us.

I went in and spoke with the sales mgr and got to see the rooms and the place where we would have the after party and the brunch.

I called the Marriot and spoke to someone. Everything was done over the phone. Also, find out if they offer a free shuttle. The Marriot does which in my opinion waws worth the extra $10 a room over other hotels. It takes people to and from the reception.

I called the manager at the Marriott at Uniondale and did it all over the phone.
