i just walked in......they have usually one person assigned as their 'wedding consultant' so it might not be a bad idea to call ahead and make sure they are in that day.

I made appointments, this way you insure you are talking to the right person and that they have rooms available to show you, because you want to see the rooms, so you don't want to go when they are fully booked. You can call and make them for the day of or the next day, but I would call first.

I did everything over the phone too. When i was in NY i stopped by and not that i needed to see anyone or anything but the girl that does the blocking wasnt there and no rooms were avail. to show me..
so i would call first to make sure they are there ;)
