Me and FH have decided to go with a Sandals HM. We are pretty flexible as to which resort. Problem is i do not like flying...
Can you tell me which Sandals you booked and if you were able to get a direct flight... (i might not get back on the plane if i have to get off to transfer)?

I hate flying also. We plan to book the Sandals Halycon in St. Lucia. And yes I have seen direct flights to St. Lucia; don't remember the airlines though.

never been to sandals but my sister just got got back from HM and she went to sandals bahamas....she said that it was terrible the place was dirty and the wait staff was horrible and rude...she said that it would take about 20 min for them to even get a drink and so on..just wanted to give you a heads up

thanks thats good to know.. espcially since bahamas seems to be the most expensive sandals (we were deciding between st lucia, antigua and bahamas)

I booked St.Lucia Regency La Toc... and yes there are direct flights but one travel agent told me the direct flights put you on the total opposite side of the island and then there will be about a 2 hour drive to the resort. The other airport which he said does not offer direct flights was about 20 minutes from the resort. I don't know the names of the airports or anything yet as there is no flight info for my time of year yet. This is only what the agent told me.
PS I am sooo in love with the Regency... and I have been to St.Lucia for 1 day on a cruise YEARS ago and it is my FAV island by far!!!!

We are booked at the Regency...Like Shauna said, there are three airports on the island. The one all the way on the other side of the island is the only one who offers direct flights. There are two that are much closer and also depending on the level room you book, sandals will send a private car to come get you and bring to/from the hotel.

yes FH and I went to an agent yesterday and said that they have direct flights from JFK.. depends on the day of the week you book though..
