have you had any trials with anyone who has been able to get curls to stay?
i really don't want to have straight hair on my wedding day

starting the day with it really really tight, so by the time my ceremony starts hopefully it will be fallen in a pretty/romantic way. im wearing it down w curls. oh and loooottttss of hair spray!

Wearing LOTS of clip in extensions. They hold the curl till you wash them.

I have the thinnest hair ever. Jenn the Hair Genie made my real hair look amazing and with the clip in extensions rocked it even more. My curls stayed in from my trial for many hours!

The best way for your hair to stay is to wash it the night before. The softer it is, the more the curls will fall. It will be slightly dirty from sleeping on it so the curls will hold better. I tell all my customers this before I do their hair and it holds beautifully. I did the same for my hair for my sisters wedding. It held all day. Also, it makes it better too if you put some mousse in your hair and just blow it dry NO BRUSHES. the brushes will pull the hair and make it too staright. If you just dry it with the dryer ONLY then curl it, it will hold up better as well. Let me know if you have any other questions

Even itf you wash it right before you go to bed?? Try it one night. Before you turn in,. Wash your hair. Put mousee in and just dry it with a blower NO BRUSH. The see how it is the next morning. DONT run your fingers through it (Oils from fingers will get onto your hair/scalp) maybe even try curling it that day (if you have an iron) and see if thats better HTH

I think that I am going to ask for them to do my hair slightly wavy... it won't hold a curl but a slight wave will hold (hopefully)!

It's funny you should say this because I want my hair down with all curls but my hair NEVER hold them long. But my friend has been doing it for me for different occasions and I found because my hair is so greasy it hold the curls best if I wash it and blow it right before the curls are put in not the night before like they usually say ..and then of course spray them to death!! haha

i think i am just going to do all up since i tried both styles, after a few hours when i had it half up my curls started to come loose so i think instead of that happening i'll just do it all up.

I was told by my hair dresser not to wash my hair at least 24-48 hrs before curling it if I want the curl to hold. Def try a test run. Wash your hair on Monday night and then style it Tuesday, see how long the curl lasts.
Then wash your hair again on Wed night, then see how the curl holds when you style it Friday morning.
