If you deal with outside vendors/contacts for work, how did you do this so people knew who you were?? Did you keep your maiden name for business/email or have both names for a while, then take off the maiden name...I feel like no one will know who I am when I change my name (and I want to drop my maiden name completely)!!

Re: Girls Who Changed Their Name...
I have legally changed my name. My work papers as far as my paycheck and benefits have changed to my married name. However, my email and contact information have remained the same by my choice. I have to many contacts as well as international contacts, adn it would be a big pain in the @$$. It would cause to many problems as far as not getting the emails that were 'supposedly sent' 'oh I didn't know' blah blah blah. Have the time most of my international contacts call me by my last name, If I were to throw a name change at them. Jeez. . . . .
IMO- keep you maiden name at work!

Re: Girls Who Changed Their Name...
I added my new last name to my maiden name with a space, legally, but plan to adopt DH's name completely. So I am Mrs. F, not Mrs. F F. (so crazy my last initial didn't change....)
In any event, I'm leaving my maiden name in the mix for now as far as on my email address and on facebook and stuff. I plan to phase it out eventually.
