girls who chose a layered invite from 'her'

i got my second proof in the mail and need to send her the paperwork. I love the invite!!

Im not having her do any of the addressing on the envelopes, I plan on doing them on my own. My question is, how are you specifing who exactly is invited so there is no confusion. Are you writing the names on the outside envelope or inside response envelope?

I feel like my response cards are an open invite...cause they state

_Accepts with pleasure
_Declines with regret
_Number of guests attending

Like im concerned with the
Mr. & Mrs. Blah Blah Blah & Family

how do i specify the whole family is NOT invited with guest?

I think the only way is to either write out all th enames on the envelope...or send each person/couple their own invite.

on the outside envlope you put mr and mrs smith. if u want their family invited then you say and family. but i have RSVP cards that are gunna say Mr and Mrs smith attend or decline.

I had inner envelopes and that is where I specified the names of who was invited and whether the person had a guest or not

I did this too, but people didn't read them anyway
some still responded with a guest that weren't invited with guest, and some with guest didn't realize they were invited with a guest. People will see it the way they want to so just be prepared for that person to respond with a guest even if they weren't invited with one...

I forget the exact wording, but didn't some girls suggest something like:

__ seats have been reserved in your name

and then the choices and you fill in the blank with 2, 4, etc...
