for our tasting when i scheduled it they asked me how many people. so i said 5, she then asked me who? so i told her, FH & I, my parents & FMIL, she seemed a little weary about the number so i said we all contributing to the cost.

We were allowed to bring 4 people with us, so 6 total. We just brought both sets of parents.

we haven't done it yet but were told we''re allowed to bring 4 other people ... we'll be going with both sets of our parents

they told me i can't bring anyone else....it would be $75 per person besides FH and I. I just wanted to see if this was different from what other places did.

We wanted to bring FH's parents bc I don't eat like 90% of the food that will be served (i dont eat red meat, seafood, and am really picky) so we thought it would be good to have more than 1 opinion....but paying $150 dollars seems crazy

That is crazy. Can you explain that to your bm? And also mention that most other RHs let you bring other people for opinions?

i have never heard anyone say that they had to pay for a tasting. aren't you spending enough money already??? thats crazy.

We bought both our mothers with us, and I was allowed to take my bother as well but he had to work.

Interesting. Everyone and their mother wants to come to my food tasting, now I have a reason to tell that that they can't come.
