I don't really want to wait anymore, especially that I graduated and passed my state boards I'm ready to move but I don't think FH wants to yet. I know waiting I can save money but I really just want to be out of my parents home and starting my life!

Well Fh doesn't want to move out until August so Im thinking that once we find our apt I'll be moving in with him but I'm not to sure

We're looking for a place in Manhattan, which might take a while b/c of the market we're in, but we're also trying to keep it traditional for our Catholic families and wait until we get married.
I hope we will move in a few months before the wedding but after the shower. So maybe Aug or Sept.

DH and I have been together for almost 4 years- we were engaged for 14 months before we got married. Once we got engaged he moved in with me since he had a bachelor pad type of living arrangement with two other guys.

Me and FH are going to look @ some new condos today. If we buy one they will probably be ready in July, very close to FH's job but I don't want either one of us to live in it until next July. So yeah we'll be paying a mortgage for a whole year and still living at home with our parents. I know if he lives there by himself the place will be a pigsty. And it's further from work for me..so oh well..let's blame it on tradition shall we?

I am keeping it traditional too. Actually I have been on my own for a long time and am nervous about living together. I love my fiancee and can't wait to spend my life with him, but when you and your fiancee have been on your own for awhile, there will definitely be an adjustment period while you get used to each other!!!!

My FH had real issues with me moving in before marriage. .. old school ...
Actually, even before I could think of marriage, I just loved him so much I wanted to always be with him. I started spending whole weekends with him, but he was really resistant to actually moving in.
I found out later, he felt better about it if we were married and just proposed after some nagging on my part on why we aren't moving in. I was a little in shock, cause I just wanted to play house a little.
And now we are engaged I still feel like there is some resistance. I'm like halfway moved in... slow and steady..

Dont get me wrong...I cant WAIT to move in with him. I really want to be able to be on my own...but staying home does have its benefits right now...we are saving money, and even though we pay rent at home, its not as much money as we would be spending if we lived together and rented and apt. So I have to be paitent...uugghh:
