OK OK before anyone attacks me yes i know i said i really needed people to say NO we were looking for about 40 people to say NO to stay on budget....an dwith as many OOT guests as we had, we figured we would get that.............

well we are WAY under now i'm a little sad about people not wanting to come.....i understand its a holiday weekend and some people wanna go away....fine but people who live local and rsvp no with no reason makes me sad. I see so many of you with really high YES counts and so little NOs. we invited 202 and we are at 120 ( still waiting to hear from FHs brothers who are in germany and arizona figured they should KNOW BY NOW!!!! but wither way we are under our minimum....we have a few people we have talked to and asked it they would like to come and explained to them why we couldnt invite them originally ( we had more family to invite than we expected to lol) they all showed interst in comming and were planning on comming to the church either way so heopfully they will come! but still i cant help but feel sad that people do not want to share in our day ill get over it but right now i am just a little sad

for those who had the same thing happen how did you feel???

Don't feel sad...I had about 72 No's which was more than I expected. What I said to myself was this is one of the most important milestones in my life and the people who WANT to come will find a way to come if they can't make it (for a stupid reason) then screw it, they weren't as close as I thought they were and that is their true colors. This actually happened to me, my 1st...yes 1st cousin and his wife who live less than a mile from my RH aren't coming and gave me a BS excuse why.

i felt pretty crappy about it. both dave & i have small families and the fact that the vast majority of his didn't come because of his mom & the way she is hurt me/us a lot.

But - all in all, we came to the conclusion that the people that were there WANTED TO BE and obviously cared for us a lot...so we were happy with the turnout.

this happened to us, but we knew before invites went out so we invited more people to cover it. out of 240 invited, we had 194. We didn't take it personally bc they were all out of state. There were a few in NY but it was bc of death in my family...what can ya do.

I'm in the same boat.

We are trying to hit our 125 at this point. I have about 84 rsvp's & 16 no's & Tonssss missing. At this point unless you told me you are coming, if you didn't rsvp yet i expect bad news.

I'm bummed too. A couple of family I really wanted to be able to come but unfortunately it seems like this is a bad year for everyone in my family. I'm kind of sad about it.

What is important though is that my most closest people will be there.

What ***** more is all the rsvp's that I am STILL waiting for, out of those left I may or may not hit my minimum, it is a crap shoot at this point..

Its a bummer - honest!

WIth all the graduations apparently - alot arent coming, and it hurts. out of 265ish we might hit 100 nos.

I kinda feel like im back in HS when no one wants to go to your party.

I was surprised at how many no's I got...and more so at which people said no.....family members that really should be there said no! But then I figure whoever can come and wants to come are going to be there to celebrate me and fh...and if others aren't coming and they don't have a legit reason....that really is their problem. It's sad and disappointing, but your day is going to be absolutely beautiful and wonderful and fun with all those who will be there!

Is it bad that I am praying for nos. I know we invited way too many. We wanted 225 and invite over 300...so I am looking to a lot of nos....

But who ever will be there will want to be there....

I understand how you feel too. Eventhough my RSVP is June 1st. I have some relatives that I thought would have responded right away that haven't even acknowledged it and didn't even show up to my shower. I am hoping we at least meet our minimum which we may not since FH has a lot of OOT guests.

Everyone is right, the people that really want to be there for us will be there no matter what.

Your day will be perfect and you won't think about who isn't there.
