Girls who got their invites addressed

Girls who got their invites addressed

Okay if I want my invites addressed I have to make three columns in excel, one for each address line.

Does anyone know the maximum number of characters that I can put on each line?

It is so hard bc i have a bunch of married couples with different last names and i want to invite their children so I have
Mr. Joe Shmo and Mrs. Jane Plain and Family

but of course all the names are much longer!

Thanks so much!

of it matters they are from Elite Weddings II

tilde!!! I printed my envelopes out one by one... with my HP printer and they came out GORGEOUS!!! Its easy!!!

no need for excel etc etc... just have to play around with your printer. Its time consuming but once you get the hang of it... it goes quickly
hey, i'll even do it FOR YOU if you want...

I'll scan pictures of mine tomorrow if you want

aww thanks babe
but i had a terrible experience doing that for my cousin's wedding ( it involved about 5 bottles of wine, many tears and a few threats to call off the wedding)

so i was just going to get them addressed by the company that is printing out the actual invitations

thanks for answering though my post was getting lonely!

hmmmm are you asking how long you can make each address line on your envelopes? or do you mean in excel? is that a stupid question?? it's been a longggggg day!!

If you're wondering about how it would look on the envelope, any guests I had that are dating, I put them on separate lines:

Mr. John Jingleheimer and
Miss Nancy Schmitt

does that help? I need to get some so my brain can function again!

Best advice is to ask the company how they want to see the information.

My invite place requested that I just do a simple, easy to read word document, and the calligrapher would use that to put into his computer. He then gave me a proof to read to make sure he input the information correctly, and then a sample copy of the longest address to see how it would look on the envelope.

I agree. I did the same thing. They should send you a printout of what the final product will look like. If not, you should request one.
