Girls who had a Candy station...

I really want to have one, but I am not sure how to go about it. Did you guys do it yourselves? or did you pay the RH to do it? If you did it yourselves, did the RH set it up for you? how did it work? and if you dont mind sharing, around how much $$$ did it run you guys. Thank you in advance!

I will be doing this in August, so I can't tell you the cost just yet
But, I can tell you that my hall offers it as an extra, and that price obviously varies to the RH
I also called my RH and explained to them that I want one, however theirs is out of my price range and I was told that I am able to bring in my own and they will set it all up for me!!

I did mine myself, but it wasnt' something my RH offered so I had no choice. I bought all the containers, the scoops, bags and candy. I spent ALOT of money, but that's only because I bought it all and put it together literally a week before my wedding. Had I given myself more time I could have bought the candy ALOT cheaper. You have lots of time so there's plenty of time for you to research. If you do a search on candy bar or bulk candy, there a bunch of threads on where people ordered their candy for cheap. I had to go to Dylan's Candy Bar, do not do that, way too much money.
