I only ask because my mom's friend is due to give birth next week, so at the time of the wedding, the baby will be 7 months old. My mom was saying how her friend probably won't leave the baby with a babysitter since shes decided to be a SAHM and she has no family here in NY.
I told my mom I dont want children at the wedding except for our FG, but our FG is so well behaved, and she parts of the BP. My mom says if she won't leave the baby with a sitter then she'd have to bring thje baby, or not come to the wedding.
How can you have an infant at the wedding, esp. with loud music playing etc. then you'd have a baby crying the whole wedding right?
Anyone have one at theirs? Was it a bad scenario?

the youngest child at my wedding was almost 2 years old..and i had a high chair for her...which her mom was very happy about......

We allowed out of town guests to bring their children, and we had a couple of toddlers at the wedding. We also got high chairs.
To be honest I didn't even notice the children. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe I was having so much fun that I didn't notice them. They all seemed to be very well behaved.

I had my 4 month old Nephew at the wedding. Along with my 2yr and 6yr old nieces. There was no problem at all. People at the wedding wanted to hold my Nephew so people where passing him around. He cryed but not much. He really slept half the time in his car seat. I was so busy, I didn't even notice he was there half the time. The loud music really doesn't bother babies. All three of my sisters kids could sleep through anything. My nieces danced all night long and the guest where going crazy over how cute they where. The only one that it was stressful on was my Sister and BIL. They had to take care of the kids.

i've been to family weddings with infants and it is so funny - everyone always worry about them and they are always fine. . . they usually get passed around and then fall asleep ( as was mentioned before) my nephew fell asleep in his car seat. . and we didnt realize it but we put him directly in front of the speaker and he didnt wake up!

yup...he was 1...but still an infant in my opinion. he slept most of the time...in fact, until i saw him, i didn't even know he was there!

i had all my little cousins there, the youngest being about 6 months raning up to 7 years old... no problem at all... i barely noticed the littlest ones...

We had kids as a matter of fact I have 2---2year old and a 6-month old baby sisters----don't ask: My parents decided they'll get divorced--remarry and start all over!!!! They were fine actually my step-mom had the kids in the bridal suite when necessary and she actually left a little early, luckily the hotel was close. They just brought their strollers to the reception.
