well, you MUST taste the combination in a test cake, becuase every bakery's fillings are different.
We LOVE hazelnut, but our bakery's version of hazelnut filling was rather bland A big disappointment to us.
Their chocolate mousse and mocha buttercream were YUMMY.... so those are our fillings....

We are having yellow cake with vanilla custard and chocolate pudding.
The chocolate pudding and or the vanilla custard would be a yummy filling for your wedding cake.

Hey Ida! I don't know yet, I remember reading a review recently about Audrey's - the bride said that they were really good and that she had heard negative things about Black Forest and that's why she chose Audrey's. I don't think you can go for a cake tasting... I think you have to buy an entire cake in order to taste the filling, but I'm not sure if that's at Black Forest or Audrey's or both.

I used Audrey's and I am still getting compliments on the cake: chocolate cake fudge filling buttercream icing
I could REALLY go for some right now!!!

Mine was fudge icing with marble cake with canolli filing and it was goooooood!
