Girls who had makeup trials.

When you went for your makeup trials, did you just have an idea of what you wanted like 'I like a natural look' or 'make me dramatic, lots of red and dark eyes' ... OR did you bring magazine clippings?

OR do you just trust the makeup artist and say 'do what you think will look best' <-- what I was thinking I'm going to do and suggest light shades of pinks and browns.

My makeup is being done by the same person doing my hair. At my hair trial I took along pics of eyes that I loved and hopefully she can get mine close, yet making it appropriate for me. Ideas never can hurt so being over prepared is never a bad thing. I'd take some photos and let her make the call on what shades type of look will be best on you.

i trusted the makeup person each time and all times i hated it. so i say bring something. i thought the point of the makeup artist was that theyd no what look best on me but it turns out they do not know me to make me up. but the point is of the makeup artist apparently from what i have learned is that the makeup artist nows how to apply it correctly and able to keep it long lasting..
turns out i am now doing my own makeup with lots of practice and talented friends and family and by using the same makeup many artists use and its coming out so much better.

sooo i say bring clippings, ideas and suggestions and maybe they will do it right. good luck <3

i brought her pictures of hair that I really liked... I totally forgot to bring makeup pics though so I just told her to make me look beautiful lol. I am waiting for her to send me some pics of my trial so I can post them!
