the reason i ask is all my friends are married and have kids all about 1 year old and i dont want it to be romper room at my shower.....

I have two younger cousins that were there but they are both over the age of 10...Some people write 'adults only' on the invite. Its up to you, its your party! I wouldn't want a bunch of 1 year olds there either.

i would likeat least my FG's there especially since 1 is my daughter.
not all children are obnoxiouse and scream. I know my daughter isn't she knows better i raised her right and she is one of the most polite children you will ever see

No. The only ones with young children left them at home with their dads. I wouldn't have minded though. I hadn't been to a bridal shower before my friends got married so I was out of the loop. I think if you have younger girls there, it's a learning experience for them...provided it's going to be a clean event. not sure you'd want them there if you were going to have a lingerie portion.

Me too. My neices are almost 4 and they were fine. It's a tough call especially if there are going to be a lot of young children. Maybe you can talk to the mothers and sort of put like it should be a girl's day out for the shower and maybe the husbands or someone else can watch them.

I had my flowergirls at my shower. The only other child was my cousins son. Her husband got called into work last minute. Either she brought her son or she couldn't come. that was it.

yeah a couple of people brought their kids. Most of the kids stayed on one side playing and didnt really get in the way
