ok so I was being SO good, and didn't look @ my registry for like a month! But my shower is not this weekend, but the one after (29th) and I can't help but notice that there's alot still left... so for those of you who either knew about their showers or just looked at their registries, when did you see stuff start to go? all of the bedding stuff and fine china was purchased awhile back from a few family members as late engagement gifts, and I know my mom said that like almost 70 people are going to the shower, so I feel like there's still alot left!

and i know I shouldn't be looking, but I just couldn't help it :( and don't take this the wrong way because I truly will not be heartbroken if things are still left on our registry.. I really just want get married and move in with my FH, and these little gifts are not the most important thing to me by any means. Just thought there was alot left based on the amount of guests attending..

I feel like people do things last minute and the week of your shower or the weekend before things are gonna go like crazy!!

I didn't look, but I did go on every now and then and delete some of the items that we didn't really need. FH and I hadn't lived together before - which I don't think you guys do either? And there were a lot of things we needed that outweighed the things we wanted.

I did notice that a lot of things were purchased that weren't checked off the registry because when FH and I went to go return some stuff they said it wasn't marked as purchased..and there are also things that were purchased that I haven't received yet.

I wouldn't worry, you still have time and A LOT of people will go out and shop a day or two before or even the morning of. You'll also probably get tons of gift cards from the people that can't decide on what to buy you. A lot of people like to give personalized gifts and won't buy off the registry, those gifts are so fun!

I'm thinking that if your shower is the 29th then this week/weekend a lot of stuff will be bought from those people ordering online. Then I would think next wed, thurs, fri people would be buying things because everyone waits until the last minute.

I was a complete registry stalker! LOL. I did notice the week before my shower - a LOT got bought. there are a lot of last minute shoppers lol.

My shower isn't for a while but I will say that before my engagement party id say things were flying off the registry the day before and even day of lol.. also some that I received was bought but didn't come off the registry as purchased.

I used to work at BBB and people always came in 2-3 days before or the morning of the shower. Obviously this isn't the case for everyone but from what I saw working there for 5 years a lot of people waited until the last minute.
