I say it is DEF worth it, especially if someone is not having high CP's. It def transforms the room and the mood.

mine are small CP's plus my room is small and boring, so I am really trying to justify to FH that its worth the extra $$$. I got a quote of 650...is that good?

That seems reasonable our dj charged us 500. See if your hall can provide them as well.

I know right! I really wish I spent more time looking into halls. I did it all from Chicago and booked a hall that I am not happy with (after seeing it person). So now I am looking for ways to spruce it up!

Verdi's of Westbury. It wouldn't be so bad if I had one of the bigger rooms, but I have the smallest room they have. I couldn't guarantee more than 100ppl, so I got the lil room! Also, there's really no where to take pics on site. I am already 3 deposits in, so its way too late in the game to change it. I am trying to find lil ways to make it work for me!

It CAN work for you- Think of unique ways to decorate!
Uplighting is definitely WORTH it for you! You want to feel happy on your day.
Other ideas- a dance floor decal- flower garlands
CANDLES everywhere!

Plus I think it's great you're getting married where your parents did! How amazing!

Do you have a coordinator..even just for the day of? If you do i am sure they can help you with transforming your room. I think the uplighting is a great start. The candels are a great idea also.

Awesome! Thanks for the positive thinking! Yay, my parents got married there 33 years ago when it was called Gigi's. 2 of my aunts and uncles got married there too! So, even if I am not 100% happy with my room, its still cool to have my wedding where they had theirs.

I don't have one but I have been seriously thinking about one! I don't handle pressure good, so I will need someone to keep me calm and sane!!!
