i got a bit of everything, my everyday dishes were completed. I didn't pick china just barware which i got only half of it at the shower and the rest as a gift for the wedding.
What I didn't get is my standmixer (wedding gift), lecruset dish (wedding gift). So more of the 'high priced' items didn't go.

kitchenaid mixer, electric knife, henkels knife set....but some of these items were just purchased! woohoo! We got 9 sets of china and several accessory pieces from close family.
Also I barely got anything from the bottom of my registry. You know the part where the pictures are not displayed (BB&B). Anyway...what a pain. I had some fine stemware that was at the bottom and some at the top....got the stuff on the top but not the bottom. Annoying.

Also we got some gift cards and used that towards other stuff that wasnt bought! Keep that in mind!

Got ALL of our fine china (most for e-party though), got all of our crystal stemware, all of our everyday plates. did NOT get any of our fancy bedding, but probably because 1) it's from Macy's and 2) it's online only. Got some of our pots/pans but not the big set, and not our Dyson (although we got our Dyson hand-vac)
we got A LOT (at least half?) of non-registry gifts, including lots of lingerie. I was hoping for mainly registry gifts and no lingerie, but it's not a big deal.
we're hoping to get our bedding, pots/pans set and dyson as wedding gifts from FH's OOT family members

I wouldn't go by what we say because it's different in every situation. I put on four bedding sets and tons of electronics and was shocked that I got it all! Some people do not get any bedding.....I'd put anything and everything on and hope for the best like I did! lol

i'm just a little nervous because we have been living together for a year now.
but when we moved in my mom would not let me buy ANYTHING. she asked people to give me hand me down everything and said that i can just register when we get engaged
my registry has a lot of items on there because we dont have measuring spoons or a toaster or coffee maker now! lol and our bedding is old sheets! (ew!!)
