Did you go overboard? I am looking at my registry and I am not one to ever ask for anything so when I was given the opportunity to register with FH.. we went kind of crazy... Like how much stuff on your registry is 'too much'? We have 2 pages of stuff on our registry from Bed Bath and Beyond (our only registry) other than our Honeymoon Registry.. and We didn't register for china... I don't want people to think that we're looking for a lot...

Re: Girls who have already registered....
would u mind telling me about your HM registy and maybe see it ..possilbe link? we were debating it
i dont think its possible to go overboard. you can't expect to get everything, and you want your guest to have an option to choose from lol

Re: Girls who have already registered....
our HM registry.. guests would have the info in the shower invite and call our Travel Agent .. she has the info as to what upgrades cost such as massages, candle lit dinners, spa packages, day trips.. I dont think they have a website for that.. But BBB has a website...

the more on your registry the better. It gives people more options of price points. I only think it is obnoxious when people register for really ridiculous things that they would never use and never purchase for themselves.

Thats what I was thinking.. Everything on it is VERY practical... and honestly if its not bought I WILL end up buying everything for our home after the wedding.. I guess that makes sense.. like if you wont buy it for yourself after no one buys it for you.. probably doesnt belong there...

Re: Girls who have already registered....
We dont have a lot on our registry but some of the things we have are expensive.. we have lived together for 6 years now so we have everything but we registered for upgrades. I dont expect one person to pay for our pots or vacuum.....but people can chip in for it.

Re: Girls who have already registered....
I had a shower recently and the on her registry she only had a few things on and all were $500 and above ...now this is a friend of a friend so i was not spending 500, or even 250 to split, and i found it a little annoying that she didnt give her guests MORE of a selection, so i say MORE IS BETTER in some cases and this is one of them...start piling on the stuff ! ! !

Re: Girls who have already registered....
I think we definitely went a little crazy, but we literally have nothing, so we're not asking to replace anything, we're just asking for things like plates, because we have four. Haha.
I've gone back on to our registry several times (because we registered right after getting engaged last February) and I've taken things off and added them as necessary. Once the initial buzz wore off I sat there and said, 'ok we really don't need this and that, etc.'

I think we definately went overboard. But we have nothing either. I know some things are way too expensive and I don't really care if I don't get the china.

I didn't have to do china so I think I overcompensated. I know I registered for to many pots. I have to reign myself in.
