So we're going to Hawaii for our honeymoon and staying on Kauai-for 2 weeks. I was looking on Expedia yesterday for flights to other islands and they were really cheap, but I dont want to book anything because I feel once we get to Kauai we are just going to want to stay there and veg out after the wedding. But my ? is if we do decide we want to go somewhere once we are there do we still just book a flight thru expedia last minute, or do they have like boats that travel between the islands? Thanks

i wouldn't take a boat or a ferry as that will take a while, but they have interisland flights for about 40-50 dollars round trip and is totally worth it. i went to kauai, it's nice, but i def think you should explore other islands since you have 2 weeks.

It depends on what type of person you are. I hear Kauai is beautiful but there isn't much to do there. Maui is the island with the most 'active' stuff. FH and I are going to Oahu to see Pearl Harbor for 2 days and then spending 9 nights in Maui. We can only spend so many days on a beach until we're bored out of our minds.
she was very helpful and gave us the cheapest prices for everything.

They don't have ferrys actually, we asked this question while we were there b/c we assumed they would, the reason they don't go by boat to most islands is because of the waves, it would be so rocky. I know they do boat trips to Molokoni (spelt wrong sorry) but thats it.
And if you want to go to another island, definitely go to Maui, its breathtaking, by far my favorite. I think we got our interisland flights for $29/each way, when they had a huge sale. Flights are only about 20-40mins depends where you are going from/to.

Maui is soooooo nice!!! We might go for our honeymoon even thought im hoping to save enough for tahiti :)
