Good hotels and places to eat we will be getting off the ship Thursday and we are leaving Sat, so make them good ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stayed at the W on 3rd St. It's not in too touristy of an area and the hotel is awesome (with really nice bay views)

Food wise - you have to eat at Boudin. It's a great lunch place and the bread is out of this world. It's kinda like Panera on steroids. I never really ate sourdough before but I still crave this bread!!! There is a really big on in Fisherman's Wharf.

For a really nice dinner on the water (not too far from where the boats meet for Alcatraz) is a great spot called Butterfly. The lettuce wraps are the best I have probably ever had. Everything there was really great.

If you have time, Lombard St. is kind of neat to drive down and def. go by the 'painted ladies'. Google it and you will probably recognize it as the Full House opening scene houses. Kind of fun to see and there is a park right across from there!
