Girls who have bought Furniture recently

Does anyone know of any good furniture stores, We live near 110 in farmingdale and went up and down, and didnt see any stores that fit what we are looking for.
Everything seemed way to traditional, the place, raymour and flannigan, etc

Anyone know of any other furniture stores?

TIA

Did you try Route 110 home furnishings? We got a few pieces there

Re: Girls who have bought Furniture recently

I wish i could think of names of the stores but I never really paid attention to them.
DH and I went looking when we furnished our appartment over the past year, and Rt 110 had a TON of smaller less known furniture stores that had a lot of things we didn't see at other stores. More modern, one store was very 'european' another was like new antique style stuff...

I think if you go to the places that aren't large name on 110 you may find some more unique pieces.

what style are you looking for? there are also a lot of furniture places on Glen Cove Road in Carle Place

Just an FYI - if you are looking at a certain type of furniture and know the make and style number you can order from the south.

We used 'Furniture Geek' in NC. It was significantly less than here on LI - no tax plus shipping

Stay away from Bassett. The furniture is gorgeous but sales help and followup suck

Raymour & flanigan is where we got ours. And try thomasville. what about bloomingdales they have a furniture store at roosevelt field mall. You can try there too!
