Girls who have done or are doing Candy Buffets

Have you found any good candy suppliers?

And what types of candy are you going to have?

TIA!

Okay - it depends...are you a sugar buff or chocolate buff? I think we're going to do both...

Good candy sites: oriental trading - they have cute stickers you can put on hershey kisses and gold coins that are really cute.

Kennedy Gourmet - amazingly good chocolate covered marshmallows. I ordered some to be sure :) http://www.kennedygourmet.com/

www.bulkcandystore.com

Also - if you want olde time candy - the stuff from when your parents were kids... www.hometownfavorites.com - we got my dad a 60's box of candy and he tore threw it like crazy, remembering times when he was a kid!!!

I read on here somewhere that the jars are at Walmart - so the price has to be good!

Hope this helped!!!

Jess :)

There is a store in Kittery Maine that ships candy and its reasonably priced.

Its called Yummies and the website is Yummies.com

They also have old candies for the nostaligic people (like myself). I ordered on here during christmas to give my sisters some candy from our childhood and I couldnt believe how cheap it was.

Hope this helps!!

Economy Candy has a store in NYC, on Rivington Street.

For the 'regular' stuff, Costco is great.

I actually ordered some of my stuff through amazon's gourmet food section...I got almonds, jelly belly jelly beans and snow-caps from there. I ordered the M&Ms from their website, and I'm gonna buy the other stuff locally.

I went to a wedding that had this and it was the biggest hit. They had stuff I hadn't seen since I was a kid. They used www.oldtimecandy.com for the oldies stuff (things like now-n-laters etc.) and they use costco for stuff like licorice, jolly ranchers. You can get inexpensive bags or things to put it in at all sorts of places. I am going to use Christmas Tree Shoppes which has great stuff for really cheap. Not sure if there are any on Long Island but they are in CT and RI. Maybe Michaels too?
