Girls who have had dermatologist cortisone shots..

I went to my derm last night and she shot up a zit with cortisone.....

how long does it take for it to go down?

i hope soon! I'm in a wedding on Saturday

it probably will go down soon - i havent had any pimples shot with cortisone but i have gotten a lot of shave biopsies done to check for skin cancer - and i tend to get keloids - so ive had the scars injected with cortisone and it helps to flatten the scar tissue - so i think your pimple will be gone by saturday - my FH has had pimples injected before and it worked for him

i thought it would be like instant...and when I got home from the dr. i was so disappointed it wasnt gone

Usually a day or two - works amazing (for me anyways..)

it should only take 2-3 days...it works wonders!!!

I use to think it was instant too...but usually the swelling goes down right away and then in about 2 days its gone!!
