I've tried 2 different ones already, and neither one is full enough. I've seen slips with hoops, but they don't have netting underneath, and I really like that look!! (That and I don't want my dress going up when I sit down!!) I need a mega full crinoline at this point. (NYBride's dress comes to mind)
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Girls who have or had ballgowns
I got mine from RK Bridal and it is SUPER DUPER full! it was pricy though (just under $100)
edited to say that the correct name for the slip is Mega full. it's the biggest one they got. this is how full my skirt will be/should be.
I tried on two kinds at Adrienne;s and she said I would need an inbetween one... they are going to order it for me....where are you getting your dress, did you try all of them there??

My dress is already in my possession. The salon I got it kept trying to tell me I need an A-line slip, but the fact is, even with the hollow to hem, it's still about an inch too long, so I need a fuller crinoline from elsewhere!!

Re: Girls who have or had ballgowns
You can wear 2 crinolines together if you can't find one that's full enough. Just put one on top of the other and step into them together. A friend of mine did that and her gown was very full.

Re: Girls who have or had ballgowns
I am also having the same problem my dress is a A line dress but I want it to be very pouffy so the woman at the bridal salon, tols me to wait to my first fitting and then they would have me try on diffrent slips to see which is the best. I have also heard of brides wearing 2 slips.

Not but will probably get it from Lillettes....I don;t want something too full or too little something in between maybe...
For those who wore a mega slip on their wedding day...did you keep it on the whole day...through reception???

Re: Girls who have or had ballgowns
how many tiers is full, extra full, mega full? I was told to get a 2-tier crinoline. I brought an a-line slip I borrowed from someone the last time I 'visited' my dress and they saw it and said not to even try it on with it it was not poufy enough! When I look online it's very confusing, tho, what with 2-tier, 3-tier, mega full, etc etc I could just get it from Burton's but I'm scared it will be alot of $$
