do you plan to be there as guests arrive so that you can greet them and thank them for coming as they arrive.. or do you plan to make a grand entrance?? Just wondering cuz my mom and i were talking about it last night... this is my thoughts on it..
Id rather be there with FH as the guests arrive that way i can acknowledge each and every guest as they arrive. a cousin of mines shower was a few years ago.. she knew about the shower.. made an entrance and it wasnt a big grand one cuz she knew about the shower.. she pretty much snuck in and didnt greet anything till after gifts were done and people were getting ready to leave.. i thought it was rude so i want to avoid that..
whats your thoughts?

I am going to be there before the guests arrive.. this way i can greet as the come in .
some people are going to be people i have never met before, so im a little nervous, and this way atleast it wont be all at once.
i never thought about FH being there too.. but thats a good idea, this way he can introduce me to his family, since i wont know some names.

I found out about my shower not too long ago and I just asked my mom about this and she said I absolutely, positively still have to come after everyone is there. So I guess thats what I am doing

thats a good question Most of my guests think I dont know about it so Im not sure. I think I may feel silly being there right at the begining but I dont want to be like 'HI here I come either' Its this coming weekend so I better make up my mind soon.

i am not a grand entrance kind of girl; I don't even want to do an entrance on the wedding day! ...so i will be there when guests arrive, and i'll probably go on my own b/c FH has a yankee game that day that i got him for his bday and i don't want him to miss it for my shower... he will probably leave early so he can meet me at the end.

Mine is 2 weeks from today and I am going to enjoy the morning! I dont want to help - call me lazy, but no, ill have this one other time, when im going to have a baby, and in all honesty - its nice to have the fuss over creating a nice party for me - I am not going to lie - it kinda makes me happy and feel good about it.
And with that I can drag Jason there too bc he has to bring me there. Hes having a guy shower that day aka - going to calverton (I am secretely jealous) but hell have to go after he brings me in!

mine is two weeks from today. that just sunk in; i almost threw up! I am not the least bit shy but i hate being fussed over... oh well, at least I went shopping and have some outfits to choose from!

I kinda just showed up. I knew about it and when I got there most people were there already. I walked around and said Hi to everyone and that was it.

Mine is two weeks from today too! Wow so many of us! I know my MOH kind of wants me to be surprised by the decorations and wishing well. Plus i kind of just want to go around and say hi to everyone all at once. My guests are arriving at 12pm and i'm thinking of getting there at 12:30. Holy crap two weeks! Can't believe it!
