Girls who used Bridal Reflections...

...did you price out veils there? Anyone know what they run?

My sister got a short veil. It was simple, some crystals and about $600. I think their veils are pricey. I bought my dress there but may shop around for my viel.

PS - My dress is in and the service has been unbelievable. I literally wanted in one day for a BM dress appt and my sales girl offered to bring the dress out and let me try it even though they were so busy. My sister was a BR bride too. I love them and reccommend them wholeheartingly.

The manager, Christina is such a sweetheart and was so honest with me when I was trying stuff. Best of all I never felt pressured even after two visits with nothing bought. That is why I went back and got the dress from them when I found it at Kleinfelds. I felt like the Kleinfeld's person pressured me so much - I wanted to cry! I even lied and said I was leaving to have lunch and would be back in an hour.

I liked several of their veils and tiara's- but found that they were pretty pricey. So I ended up buying it at Bridal Styles in Brooklyn, and thought it was gorgeous.

I am also a BR bride and the veil I like there was $350 for a very simple Ivory, Rattail, fingertip, angel cut. The hair comb I liked was $200 for no crystals and two little flowers.

I went to Barons, gave them the exact same info as above and they quoted me around $50. The similar comb with 4 flowers was $50 as well.

Everyone raves about them there. I would try them before buying from any bridal store.

Also...does anyone know if Thomas Knoell sells veils?

I got a veil there but since returned it bc I changed my mind on the style of it...the veil was over 800 (I bought the sample for 295) YOU CAN FIND THEM MUCH CHEAPER AT BARRONS...lol one of the reasons I returned mine

When you go to barrons what do you ask for? Are the veils made out of the same material?

def go to barrons! They have a huge selection and for a quarter of the price at Bridal reflections.

Denise was having a trunk show at Bridal Reflections when I got the price of $350 for a simple veil...so not worth it.

Definitley try Barons. I told them exactly what I had picked out at bridal reflections. I even tried it on with my dress but was not willing to spend that kind of money on a veil.

I am also a BR Bride. I didn't even bother pricing their veils as I figured they would be too pricey. I went and bought my tiara from bridal styles in Brooklyn. They gave me my veil ( 2 tiered pre-cut for me) for free. I thought it was a great deal.

Chirstina is the best, she was so helpful with me also. I have only good things to say about Bridal Reflections. I too think I will be going elsewhere for my veil. I went looking at Barrons and they have so much to choose from and their prices are amazing.

To answer your question- the veils are made out of the same material-YES the are!!! lol
I work in fashion, so I know how much all these materials and beads cost- and its amazing, actually its disgusting how much these boutiques and bridal stores are charging! At one of the bridal stores i went to, they wanted to charge $400 for a satin sash! I was baffled!!! I went to a trim store in the city and for the same thing, it cost $5 per yard!!!!!!!! Same material and everything!!!

Thomas Knoell does sell veils :)
