did they get damaged in the mail?? or did you put them on the inner ennvelpe? I wanted to put them on the outer envelope but i am worried they weill get ruined........should i just use it on the inside envelope??

I just ordered my monogram wax seal stamper. I am using the wax sticks that go in the glue gun. Apparently they are easier to use and they also dont get all cracked and broken in the mail. I did a bit of research on it before I ordered and thats the most I came up with.

i had them on the inside and had the envelopes hand cancelled and it was fine.
my MOH used them on the outside of the envelope and did not have them hand cancelled and more than 75% of them were ruined, the envelopes were destroyed, or the envelope showed up empty b/c it got ripped and the STD she was sending fell out. or the magnets showed up shredded/ruined.
she wound up sending out an appology postcard/std

yeah i got a double heart one at acmoore and my mom is at michaels and bought me the glue gun sticks im gonna use those thanks for the help

what exactly is 'hand cancelling??' lol i hear people say this all the time and still have no idea wtff everyone is talking about lol....is it like you stamp the envelopes over the stamp yourself and they dont go thru the machine? if thats the case i dont get it cause they go throught a sorting machine anyways no??

The post office stamps it so that it doesn't go through the stamper, which 'smashes' the envelope. it does go through the sorter but the sorter isn't rough on it.
At least that's how the post office explained it to me.
