Have you ever ordered your contacts online??? Are they cheaper than getting them through your eye doctor??? TIA!

I have ordered through lens123 and 1800contacts but in my opinion I don't think it is any cheaper than ordering through the eye doctor.

I order through 1800contacts just because I don't feel like going to the doctor. I've saved money a couple of times when they've emailed me coupons. HTH

I usually get a presciption and order from 1800 contacts. i ususally can get them cheaper there then at the drs office. which reminds me I need to make an eye appointment Im on my last box of contacts boooo

I wait until my contacts have a rebate going for them, and order it through the doctor and in bulk, my insurance covers half and then the rebate covers the rest... I think for a year supply I pay about $50 bucks.

When I do need to refill and there are no rebates I use 1800contacts and they're really great! Even if your prescription changes they'll take all of the unopened ones back and exchange them for no charge :)

I've ordered from coastalcontacts.com and 1800contacts as well. I do find them to be cheaper then the eye dr, but I think it dpends on your lenses what the variation in price is going to be.

PS, if you google your lenses you can get prices... and I've foundmost often costalcontacts has the best price, so I recommend checking them out.

ETA, FH orders his from Costco and his are way cheaper there than at the eye doctor.

I got Cohen's to price match internet prices. They had a deal where an eye exam for contacts ( for 3 Years of exams) was $125 and then I got price matched with 1800 contacts. After that I came back with a price match for vision direct and she took it down even more.

I wore contacts for 10 years before I got lasik and I would alwaysss order from 1800contacts.. not only was it easier because they came to my doorstep, but it was always cheaper than going through my eye doctor

about the same- and sometimes the doctors office will price match - so same thing LOL
