Girls who went off BCP

Have a question....

I just recently went off it for the first time in YEARS........did you still get AF at the same time you did when you were on the pill or was it all screwy at first...

I think I still got it around the time I got it when I was on BC. I went back on BC so I dont remember but when I went off my period was pretty regular.

last month was my first month off and my period came only 18 days after my august one! :( this month seems like it will be a little bit longer...i think our bodies take a couple of months to regulate themselves!

I know my friend never got a regular one again. she could never keep track of it again.

I actually have a question about going on BC. I'm going to be starting YAZ and i was wondering how were the side effects. I'm terrified about gaining weight!

i think different people react differently (as far as side effects). Theres no way to really tell i dont think.

I am on that and had no side effects

The first one i was on was ortho tri cyclen low.
I suffered weight gain, severe depression, and I spotted everday.

A lot of people i know on the low estrogen ones had side effects and than when they went to the regular one they were fine like me.

everyone is different...so dont go by anyones answer...i am on estrostep and love it...have friends on yaz...some love it...some hate it. As with any pill..starting or stopping can cause many things to happen...that is why I am not changing ANYTHING until after the wedding....weight gain/loss...acne....I just dont want to risk any more stress or health issues before that day! just my advice

I was on BC for YEARS, and just recently went off it. (about 4 months) and I can NEVER tell when i am getting my period,.im more emotional, i get HORRIBLE cramps and headaches, it is much heavier and my skin is breaking out,,,,,honestly i CANT WAIT to just pop out a puppy just so i can go back on it !
