Girls who went to Maui - I need some help!

We are going to Maui for ten days in January for our honeymoon.

We want to do the following excursions:
helicopter tour of volcano
road to hana
whale watching

Can anyone recommend a company we should book our excursions threw? I am very concerned about safety..

Any other 'must dos' in Maui and also places we MUST eat at?

Try maui air for the heli ride....

the road to hana is a 7 hour drive.... we skipped it and just viewed it from the air. You should also do a luau... maui has the best one. Drums of the pacific. So nice....

The road to Hana is gorgeous but unless you're prepared to spend an entire day in the car, skip it. A drive along the north shore of Maui is only about an hour or two and is also beautiful. DH and I did both on our HM and we loved them both equally.

We did the heli tour on Kauai so I can't help with that.

We went at the very beginning of whale season and didn't bother going since they really weren't 'in' yet but most companies will have a guarantee that you will see whales. There's TONS of boats that offer excursions on the wharf in Lahaina.
