Girls who went/are going to ARUBA

We went scuba diving (there are also snuba and snorkel cruises that look cool) and definitely do a Jeep tour! Those are sooo much fun, you either get your own Jeep or you share with a few ppl (if you share, it's a land rover I think) and you follow a guide in his own Jeep and you go all around the island! It's really fun!

I recommend eating at the local restaurants.
I also took the local bus for .65 cents I believe and I went along the main route to the city for some shopping.

(They have a Louis Vuitton store where I think you can negotiate the prices! dont quote me though)

I'm going there this summer and I found so many great things I want to do. Here is everything I remember:

-Beach (obviously)
-Jeep Tour which takes you to all the sightseeing type places
-Hiking
-Horseback Riding
-Jet Skiing
-Kayaking tour
-Sunset Cruises
-There are party buses which pick you up at your hotel and takes you to bars and then drives you home
-Spa
-Photo Shoot maybe
-Snorkeling
-Going into town to go shopping
-They have a bowling alley and a drive-in movie theatre
-4 wheeling (ATV-ing)
-Water Park

There is a great aruba guide... it was only $10 at barnes and nobles you might be able to find it cheaper online... I think it was called Fodor's guide to Aruba. it was updated and informative!

We rented a Jeep and drove the north side of the island - in the desert area - I don't know if they let you do that anymore without a guide

Also contemplating renting a charter and doing some fishing - Its sailfish season in October

i looooved just lying on the beach, but there's a ton to do.... snorkling, scuba diving, parasailing, u can rent jet skii's, u can do a party bus that takes u to dinner then to 3 different bars, theres also an island that u can take a boat to that has water rides, anndddd u can take a romantic boat ride at sunset and have dinner.... then theres also the casino's in the hotels, and tons of restaurants too. you'll have a great time! and a jeep tour of the island too

Haroula -

I've been looking into the fishing - have to look some more. Let me know if there's anything specific about fishing down there that Gianni wants to know.

And I forgot about the jet skiing - sorry.

There's also parasailing.

we took out a sailboat from the hotel and that was awesome bc they have a lot of trade winds there so you can get going pretty fast!

We've been to Aruba. You definitely need to eat at Madame Janette's, Flying Fishbone and SUnset Grille at The Radisson. They are so romantic *& delish!)
Also, for a 'fun' night out the Kookoo Canoo Bus was an experience! lol ~ we got some laughs out of that.

Depending on where you are staying, there are casinos, restarunts, shopping, movie theatre, water sports, the brazillian restaurants there are ammmmmazing (food non stop). We stayed at the Renaissance Suites and there is a strip of fun things located by the hotels.

There is a butterfly farm in Aruba..it's pretty cool and definitely won't take the whole day..expect to spend 2 hours there.

Do the Jolly Pirate Ship! I do it every time I go back I love the 3-6 tour because when you get back the sun is setting, it is so pretty!!!
