did you mail invitations to the grooms parents? Or did you just give them one as a keepsake?

Re: girls whose parents are throwing the wedding
Mailed them one and they sent me back the RSVP.
They're really just guests at their own son's wedding...
::sigh::

Re: girls whose parents are throwing the wedding
are the groom's parents paying?
I would think no matter who was paying you should mail the invite. I think they would like to get it in the mail. .
eta . . oh i get it. . bride's parents paying do you mail it the the groom's. . I still say yes. . my parents are helping us pay and we mailed it to all of them. .and they all sent rsvp's. . they liked getting them in the mail. .
but same here. my FH's parents are just guests. they aren't doing anything to help plan, pay, etc. . actually were the LAST to rsvp out of anyone.. sigh

Mailed them an invite and they responded. She could care less if she had a keepsake.

Re: girls whose parents are throwing the wedding
We had a few people give us money towards the wedding and then we paid for the rest ourselves.. We sent everyone invites and I made sure I got the RSVP back! More so because I wanted them for a scrapbook more than anything else.

Re: girls whose parents are throwing the wedding
I would mail them one. But what we are doing for our parents gifts is we are getting Lenox double invitation frames for each set of parent and putting our invitation in there as a keepsake.

My parents are throwing the reception but FMIL already said she wanted an invite so I will just mail her one too

Re: girls whose parents are throwing the wedding
FFIL does calligraphy so he is addressing the envelopes for me.... so he might just keep one for themselves, instead of me going through the motion of mailing it.

I am sending to both parents even though one set is paying.
