Girls with glasses

Are you wearing them the day of? i was thinking of contacts but 2 things are stopping me

1) my eyes are always itchy from allergies
2) I dont know if I would be able to put them in and out- I have a hard time with eye drops.

If I dont wear them I can't see anything and I want to see FH as I am walking down the aisle.

Also my glasses are transition lens and they will be dark coming from outside into the church

Help!! What do i do?????

I wear glasses on lazy days, contacts on not so lazy days.... If the contacts are gonna bother u, I'd say just wear ure glasses. Since they're transition lens' maybe u can get a cheap pair or get a decent pair to have in case and u can wear it the day of.... Ooorrrrr try the contacts and try to get used to them before the wedding if u can...

I am afraid that if I spend the money for contacts and never use them- I would be mad at myself. But thats a good idea about getting a differnt pair of glasses to wear the day of. hmmmmm-I may do that

i wear glasses most of the time because my contacts really bother my eyes. i refuse to wear my glasses for my wedding just because i hate how i look in pictures with glasses. i would wear my contacts but they will def. make my eye make up run. i am determined to figure out a way to get and pay for lasik before i get married.

ITA - more often than not you see me with glasses on, but I plan on wearing my contacts for day of.

When I went for my e-pics we took them in the studio and I took off my glasses for that- I got up started walking and knocked over the photographers equipment. I didnt see it

I am so afraid that I will do that at my wedding too!

generally, the eye doctor (or at least mine does) gives you a trial pair to use for a few days to see how they feel. then you decide if you want to purchase that brand. i just know for myself personally that i have a problem with contacts in general. i have tried so many different brands it is ridiculous!

I don't see why not - you will, in all likelihood, still probably have to go to the eye dr or contact lens place to have them fitted - If they are uncomfortable, I don't see why you couldn't try a different manufacturer.

I am having the same problem - I have to wear my glasses - there is no getting around that. Mine are transitional so, they will be dark in a lot of pictures. I know I won't be happy about that.

I need to figure out something to do about this.

I wear my glasses when watching TV, computer, driving, work. the rest of the time I just walk around in haze (btw, everybody looks so much better LOL).
I plan on not wearing my glasses the day of and just pray I will see FH w/o squinting (<--great! a new thing to worry about! ugh!)

I got contacts last March specifically because I didn't want to be wearing my glasses at our wedding.

I never thought it would happen, but I absolutely LOVE the contacts!!!! It took me almost 2 months to get used to putting them in every day. I have terrible allergies but claratin seemed to be enough to keep them at bay and I didn't need the eye drops anymore. It was quite an experience learning to use contacts, but they are so amazing! Even for simple things like going to the gym, life is just so much better with contacts!

I know DH loved my glasses, but everyone has gotten used to me in contacts and it's been great. I encourage you to give them a try! If you're nearsighted, most eye doctors have sample contacts they can fit you with at their office so you don't have to buy a year's supply or anything. There's usually like an $80-$100 one-time 'fitting fee' but some insurances cover this.

i will 100 percent be wearing my contacts.. especially cause they make my eyes blue and I looove it, lol.

funny story.. my bro didnt want to wear glasses for his wedding so he ordered contacts but couldnt get them in his eyes.. he was soo frustrated one day when he practiced he called me at work cause he couldnt get his contact out of his eye once he got it in so he drove to my work so i can take it out for him, lol!!!!!!!
