what color shoes are you wearing? I'm stumped. I don't want to do dyeables. Any ideas?

YES! That is right - I wonder if they would let me - the bridal salon is only a few feet from the shoe section! That's a great idea!

I found a really nice pair or dyeables through bellisimo.com

If I didn't find a nice pair, I would have went with silver maybe.....o and zappos.com has a bridal section and kate spade makes ivory shoes.

i wanted to wear sneakers because i hate shoes. but FH, my mom, my sister, & FMIL all yelled at me saying that i can't. but my daddy said i could then my mom yelled at him.

then i wanted to get the blue Manolos, & FH freaked when i said i was going to buy $900 blue shoes. & my mom freaked saying that you don't wear colored shoes for your wedding & $900 is crazy considering i don't like to wear shoes.

so i found these two pair of shoes that both come in Ivory.

My FH thought the same thing!!! He hates the idea and thinks its stupid

I LOVE the idea!! But Im gonna stick to the traditional ivory shoes to match my dress

i am wearing red shoes a few people dont agree with my decision but hey is my wedding. it might not go but i think it would be fun...plus i get to wear them again for any other occassion.

I haven't a clue. And no idea what I want either. I was thinking about getting purple to match my BM dresses...or silver. I am extremely picky when it comes to shoes because I am tall and the exact height of FH - so, I have a feeling it will be whatever I find, that I am comfortable in, and with a low heel.

If I end up with color shoes, I will keep them on through dinner and the first dance (we are having a formal sit down dinner - no dancing during that time) then change into flipflops after the first dance.

I love the idea of colored shoes when they are a surprise and unexpected - when you only get a peak at them. My concern is that my dress, once the tulle skirt is removed, is only the length of a regular gown and has a slit up the back, so the shoes will be fully visible the whole time!! Not sure how I feel about it.
