GIRLS WITH PETS!!!!EVEN THE DRY FOOD NOW IS CONTAMINATED, NOT ONLY THE WET!!!

i think i found this list of ALL affected cat/dog foods. it's freakin MASSIVE if you scroll down through the article a little bit, you'll see links for affected cat foods and affected dog foods

oh this is just awful.
We fed our cat Nutro for about 3 years, and she always vomited....at least 3x week. We spoke to the vet about it; she said that its 'normal behavior.'
Well, about 3 months ago, we switched her food....she has not vomited once. She's so much healthier! SHe's happier, more affectionate, and just plain healthy. Her coat is shiner too.
Her new food is called NATURELS VARIETY.
My point in this story is that I worry we were killing her all along with the nutro.....I think their food was full of crap and bad things even before this outbreak.
I thin these pet food companies are disgusting and get by with the cheapes crap they can....after all, owners of the food don't test it or know the difference.
I recommend Naturals Variety. Its not on the list of contaminated foods, and I've seen first hand how great it is.

wow that list is huge! This is just unbelievable All these animals and they dont even have some kind of lead as to how this all happened...

this makes me very nervous... we give our dogs dry food only...

I actually used to give my cat Nutro for years and I had to put her to sleep because she was so sick and the vet wanted to give her test after test so i just decided to put her down....Now that I hear this I feel like i could have possibly killed her by the food i was giving her

Even if it was because of the food--and I think this was pretty recent--YOU didn't kill her, the people who made the food did. It's not the pet owners' faults at all.

I'm just really happy that we feed Agatha Fancy Feast and Kitten/Cat Chow. Just switching her this week as she's a year old. She doesn't seem to like the Cat Chow, but she's eating Purina, dammit!

Fh and I switched our girl to Purina. It's the only one I knew of that was NOT on the list. I admit I am still worried about her. Her old canned food was Iams but the lot number was different then the recall. This is just so scary.

I'm not sure which size. The Purina website said that's the only product they had made by Menu foods - all their other stuff was made at their own plant.

OMG, this is sick!!! I can't believe this, what the world coming too lately. There's just too much of this crap happening lately. If it's not our food it's our pets. UGH!!!

I didn't see the Purina press release till this morning but Roley is eating Beneful dry food and weight management wet. She has a weight problem . Anyone who does feed mighty dog pouches try not to freak. They said none have been found to be contaminated they pulled them as a precaution since they are made in the menu foods plant. It was only the pouches, the cans and all other Purina products are made in the Purina plants. Or at least thats what they said in an email I got this morning.

we feed rocky nutro too
if you go on their website it states that its dry food isnt made (outsourced) where its wet and other brands wet and some dry were...

So, this one ios still technically safe but i just dont trust anything anymore

I still need to post some links of human food recipes. I promise i will this evening
