yup same with me . I feed Rocky Nutro dry and the wet Nutro was recalled but after reading about dry too now, im going to start cooking for him...

Ill put some links on here tomorrow about giving dogs human food and recipe examples...

i've heard about people doing that. it's probably so much healthier because there are less fillers/preservatives in the food. and less rat posion!!!

yup its healthier. The Dog Whisperer recommends human food over dog food and he has an 'ultimate receipe' which im going to try and find...

I just found out that dog food is made with the 3Ds - carcasses that are diseased, decayed and decomposed.

its horrible how these food corporations will just lower their standards to just save $$$.. a friend a work thinks he lost his dog to this stupid food situation.. the poor dog had kidney failure two weeks ago out of nowhere..

i got seven cats at home that im feeding both dry and wet this is f&*king ridiculous im so pis sed at these companies... im sorry but this is murder

Ladies im sorry I just had to vent- this recall is f reaking me out .... ive been feeding my cats meow mix and wiskas

i pray that this nonsense stops and companies start to monitor the foods more closely

Yea, im curious too. My parents dog (my baby) eats dry Eukanuba. FH's dog eats dry Iams

Well its only certain brands of food...I believe IAMS, eukanuba and Menu..and again its not ALL of the food. Def. check out which food is contaminated. I give my dogs Science Diet and Merrick (wet food)..so I think my doggis will be safe. I do hope that all your dogs and cats are safe and yes take them to the vet as soon as possible if you suspect anything...

To be honest, i think pet owners should throw out ALL iams and eukanuba that you have (dry and wet) and go pick up another brand of food. At this point, theres no reason to take a chance....they dont really know what has and hasnt been contaminated
