I was all set on doing a silver shoe with the dress I picked out for my BM's, but I was talking to someone that said not doing a dyed to match shoe makes the girls look like they're guests, and not part of the bridal party.....
I've been very anti DTM shoe but now that she said that, I think i may agree with her! What is everyone else doing??

Re: Girls with short BM dresses...help!
I don't think so at all. I think they should all wear the same color shoe but it doesn't have to be dyed to match the dress. I think doing silver with that dress will look very nice. You can even ask the girls to get the same exact shoe if you don't want them to have all different ones - that will make it more uniform.

My girls are wearing knee length navy dresses and fuschia shoes. I don't think they will look like guests if their shoes don't match the dresses. As long as the girls all look alike, there is no way they will look like guests.

what!! i have never heard of such a thing at all! if all the girls are wearing the same dress they are bridal party members no matter what color their shoes are. i think accenting that beautiful dress with silver shoes and silver jewelry would be PERFECT!

I don't think so. I think it will be so pretty to have silver shoes, and instead of it looking likea uniform. My girls are also wearing silver shoes with royal blue dresses.

I don't think its an issue. I think the silver shoe with that dress would look fantastic. I'm dyeing the shoes only because I told each girl to get whatever shoe they wanted. But if I could, they'd be wearing silver shoes as well!!

My girls have short coral dresses and I think I'm going to pick out silver strappy shoes. I don't think it's practical to pay a lot of money for dyeables if they can never wear it again..

I think anywhere we can save our girls money we should do it and I also would love for them to be able to wear the shoes again.

I completely agree. I'm having the ladies get the same style of gold shoes, and not dyed to match shoes.

I agree that whoever said that is out of their mind My girls have knee length chocolate dresses and are wearing leopard print...I hate matchy-matchy to begin with though
