I have an emerald cut center stone with the classic tapered baguette setting. I just went looking for wedding bands and I cannot find any that looked right with it, nor did any seem to fit well against it. Now I'm thinking I should get a band to wear alone or get one custom made to sit flush against the e-ring. What kind of a wedding band are you girls getting to go with your baguette setting?

Re: Girls With Tapered Baguette E-ring Setting
Do you have a pic you could post? I got a 1/4 carat ring and it is a pave style, sort of marquis cut so it works with my e-ring.
We have almost identical rings. I just got my wedding ring. it has 2 bagguesttes and a piece that fits around the emerald cut stone, so all you see is the emerald cut stone and another 2 sets of bagguettes on each side - I'll look for a picture
I also got a second ring of 5 diamonds to wear when I am not wearing the e & W rings together.

MY GF has your ring and she got a band made with the tapered baguettes. Or you could go with a plain band.

My e-ring has tapered baguettes like yours, but my center stone is round. My wedding ring looks like:
I'm very happy with how they look together. Since the baguettes and center stone are raised, while the wedding band is low, they actually sit quite close together.
I think that something like this would be perfect with your ring:

the problem I had is that I do not want a gap between the rings ( I have short fat fingers) and the stone protrudes to the front and back of the setting - I wanted something to hug the ring, and to get that I needed a piece to be omitted

I the same problem, if you go to elsa they can mold your ring and make something that fits well. turns out that i found something that fitted close enough at tri-county so i didnt use elsa and pay the extra to have the ring made.

I also have a similar setting except my centerstone is round. I have also looked and can't find anything that fits the ring - I did find something at an independent boutique jeweler in my town - he also can custom make it for you. Numerous people I know have gotten their bands from there and I will also. FM me and I can give you the information. Good luck!

If I had an emerald cut, I would probably do what dubliner is doing, skip the diamond near the center stone of the e-ring, so that the rings sit flush...

If you get it made, the jeweler will let it sit flush, mine was made to match my e-ring and even though the center stone is long, it sits flush against my band.

Beautiful ring...my girlfriend has a very similar one with emerald cut middle and baguettes..she had the same problme and she ended up geting two plain bands one for below and above it and it looks really nice..good luck!
I have almost the same ring but with a princess stone in the middle. I almost got the same band that Buttafli1277 posted but at the last minute changed my mind. I got three baguettes with bar between them. It is the exact length of my e- ring from baguette to baguette and then there is a small round diamond at each end. It really fits nicely together. I didn't like it though with just the baguettes - felt it got lost.
I searched forever for my band. I also felt nothing looked nice with mine. Plus I have really skinny fingers so I don't have much room on my fingers (size 4). I found the rings that had the bar in between the stones looked best. I didn't think I would have wanted to mix round stones but when they have the bar it actually fits nicely. Good Luck.
