My mother treated me on Friday to my nails (she insisted on me getting the UV gel b/c she feels 'its time' whatever lol).
How the hell do you function?????? I can't pick up change, open the little door on my phone to charge it, and I look completely stupid trying to remove my contacts...
I give you girls credit. I'm obsessed with the noise it makes when i type lol...
how long are they? maybe get them cut a bit shorter?

I keep them really short! Like you can only see a very little bit over the tips of my fingers when i look at my palm.

thats what i am afraid of!!!! i have to cut my own nails b4 i go in for a reg mani cuz they dont cut my nails short enough!! i need them below the skin. im terrified of being uncomfy with nails. arghhh

Not long at all. I usually have short nails with dark polish. Now I have slightly longer nails (not dragon lady) with permanant french. Its really pretty, i'm not use to it.

ugh.
i'm a nail biter. have tried to do fake nails three times in my life and last time they i had to do recon after i tried to yank them off myself because i hated how things felt.
couldn't even folder laundry without it feeling awful.
i give you all credit. they are so nice looking.
ill stick to chomping on mine :)

putting them back on a few weeks before the wedding

I was told they last 3-4weeks. i'll break them in 2. And it took like an hour to do. but they are pretty. But friggin expensive! $80 bucks to have them put on, and fill in's with this french thing is like $50. I'll go once a month whatever....

if the length bothers you, you can try filing it down. Thats what I{ do after I get tips at the salon..the nail salon ladies always leave it longer than I like so I go home and file them down sometimes.
Also. round out the edges of the nails (oval shape) so the nail looks longer than it is. When I see square tip french manicures, I know right away they are fake tips..I try to round the nails so they look more natural.
