Girls..after thinking about it, i'm dissapointed...

Original post by jtgarsik

i admit i commented to the LV wedding earlier...but after thinking about it, I deleted it...honestly, this is someone else's wedding girls. We all know that everyone has a different vision for their wedding....whether any of us personally thought her wedding was over the top then that's our opinion...but if her dream was to have an LV train down the back of her dress & pull off in an LV mobile, than good for her. Would any of you like it if someone had a whole thread dedicated to ripping ur wedding apart?? I think u'd find it very hurtful... I think we should leave this alone..

Im not saying that people should be trashing her in any way. I never even said I didnt like her wedding, or ideas. Just that when you do something to that extent it begs to be commented on... love or hate. I agree that that should not be done on a public form tho. It is mean, and the pics shouldnt have been posted to begin with.
Hope I wasnt misunderstood.

no worries

\ Love your review, and the mullet pic hahaha

The fem mullet reminds me of the movie monster with Charlece Theron!

RP from other thread:
Let's just admit it... whether you're the nicest person around it not - that is the most ridiculous thing anyone here has ever seen. I had a winter theme - I would expect people to think I was crazy if I had snowflakes hanging from my train and my car was covered in tinsle.

Agreed, but how would you feel if you did do that (snowflakes and tinsle) and you started hearing that your guests thought it was tacky or tasteless?? Of course its still your wedding and what you wanted so to you its beautiful, but it still stings regardless

This just went on with an 07 bride, last week. She had a beautiful wedding and it was posted on another site calling it tacky and tasteless...and bashing on it, to me her wedding was beautiful!!! But they didnt agree. It was hurtful to her b/c that is what she wanted and her dream wedding an people put her down, and rightfully so her feelings were hurt.

Your comments have me cracking up over here.

And I feel guilty for laughing.

But I'm already comfortable with the fact I'm going to hell...so....cest la vie.

You know, it is wrong. I commented too, not about the bride being ugly, but something silly. They were personally attacking Milana.

So here is what I learned. Don't go searching the web looking to make fun of people.

I also learned this-if you post on here and ask opinions, let's actually stop being passive-aggressive and be honest. Not everyone will agree, but I think people would rather have honesty than the usual 'oh that is so great' and then have a bunch of people laughing behind their back (not necessarily here, but just in general) This also goes to if someone is annoyed. Just come out and say it. We are all adults and we can take it. As long as you are not attacking someone, using profanity or continuing to complain after getting an explanation or an apology, say what you feel!

Just to give an example of a conversation between myself and another poster whom I love to death. I came out with her (she will know who she is)-asked her if my pants looked okay tucked into my uggs. She was honest with me and I didn't blow up at her. I just laughed, untucked mt jeans and we went on with the night.

That to me is a real friend. And someone I will take shopping with me.

Yes, I was a little pissy yesterday but please, any brides out there, do not search the internet for other people in general to make fun of unless you know them personally. And even then, get their permission first. You never know whether they want to have their face published on an unknown site!

your right we should not judge I am guilty but I would not want someone to critic my wedding that way

i agree...who is anyone else to bash her wedding just because it wasnt the 'normal' decor or dress, car, cake? i dont think the idea of posting her pics up on this forum to make fun of them is very nice either.

I agree 100%. This is why I did not comment on anything- I think that is poor taste.
