Hi Ladies...Next Friday June 5th is my RSVP due date. Well Only 50 PEOPLE have responded YES!!! Only 7 have said no! That makes only 57 people that have responded. Im really worried! I invited about 180 people! Why arent people responding? My minimum is only 135 and I dont even think we will make it! What should I do!!

we are in the same boat! our RSVP date is June 1 and we are missing almost half of our RSVPS! So frustrating...im just trying to wait it out and see...so annoying!

This is the point where you start e-mailing the friends who haven't responded, then have your parents and FILs make phone calls to those family members who haven't responded. I'm going to do this again this weekend, as I still am waiting to hear from about 50/227.
Facebook has been wonderful for getting this word out!

When did you send them out?
I would not be afraid to call or email folks after the date. Also, you may get a lot in the last week.
Also, do you have a b list. . seems like you have plenty of time to mail some extra ones out. .

I sent them out in April...UGH!!! I have a B list. I cant believe some people! Even family hasnt responded!!! GRRR!!!

I really wouldn't worry unfortunately many people don't send back their rsvps. I had to call a lot of people when I only got back about 60% sent back their rsvp. After your rsvp date passes get on the phone.

Thats just so annoying!!! I paid for the stamp!!! Why cant they send it back!

I am feeling the stress of Responses too... My date is June 3rd and I have got about 125 responses and we invited about 275... so I am missing lots! I don't care if you are in the wedding, I wasted a stamp on you RSVP envelope, send it back.... It's not hard!

Wow Im sorry!! I really dont get how people can be so inconsiderate. When I get an invite, I send back the RSVP right away! Thats so annoying. The stamp is already paid for.... the person shouldnt have to call on top of already spending money on EACH invite and stamp to send it to their house and another stamp for the rsvp. Wow people have some nerve!!
I am going to be sending mine out soon, and Im sure I will encounter the same problem...

ok you need a b list... start mailing some out soon, also realize that you have time, some people don't mail them out until the day they are due do not worry!!!!

I have a little tiny problem with my B-list... well, besides the fact that I don't really have one... my RSVP date is June 5th.
How do you send B-list invites with the date pre-printed on the response card? Do you just add a '1' to make it 15? Is that SUPER tacky? (If I think something's tacky, it must be bad... I pretty much go with the flow about everything... lol)
I'm not too worried but have about the same # as you to hear from still.
Also, do you count yourself and FH in your # attending? I haven't yet... but I guess we'll have to pay for ourselves...

We are having the same issue too. Our rsvp date is june 1st. We received 108 our of 317. I dont get it either and a little nervous that they might have gotten lost in the mail since we just moved.

I don't understand people. There was a holiday weekend involved so that can't be helping the situation, plus the mail has been extremely slow lately it seems. Hang in there, hopefully you will get them soon.
