give me the strength!!! long vent ...

ok time to complain. i have to go to FH's parents' tonight to have birthday cake for him (his b-day was the 14th) and his mom. his brother finally decided to grace the family with his presence tonight and come to visit from NJ (oh so far!) so we had to dump our plans. the guy didnt come home when both his grandfathers past away and only calls FH to cry about his pathetic relationship with the flavor of the month. when FH told his mother we needed to run to the mall when he gets home from work in a few hours his mom started *****ing to him already so i'll get an attitude from her since i am his fiance and will take him away!! his sister just recently decided to go to cosmetology school after being a florist for 10 years so all she does is preach in her snotty voice about all the things she KNOWS about skincare and how i will get wrinkles by my wedding day if i dont do what she says. HELLO, YOU JUST STARTED THIS AND I'M ONLY 25 WITH NOT A SIGN OF A LINE! ENOUGH ALREADY MISS OIL OF OLAY! then she'll ask us a million wedding questions and break out the snotty voice again to put down every idea we have. she is extremely jealous and very unhappy in her one year old marriage.
i wish my FH would just stand up to them or at leasr tell them to RELAX! i cant wait until tonight is over.

I feel your pain my dear. With every snotty word from them, just keep writing in your head your next post to vent about it! It's about all that I can do sometimes to keep from killing myself mid-visit with my FIL's!

Just keep telling yourself it will be over soon.

i hope the cake is good at least.

think happy thoughts and keep reminding yourself that the only reason they are doing this is because they are miserable! remember that you don't have to do that to people becuse you are not miserable.

think happy thoughts, you can get some satisfaction from them by remembering your life is better and happier...... i guess your FSIL doesnt go on Liweddings..... maybe she would have been a happy bride if she did
